Leading Maritime Law Leader, Napo Ramodibedi, Named Ambassador for Blue MBA Programme, representing Africa

The Blue MBA proudly announces the appointment of Napo Ramodibedi as the new Blue MBA Ambassador, representing Africa. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in the maritime law sector, Ramodibedi brings valuable insights to the role. 

Blue MBA Ambassadors serve as pivotal representatives of the Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics programme at Copenhagen Business School. Napo Ramodibedi will join as the ambassador for Africa, joining a global team that includes representatives from the Nordics, Singapore, Latin America, the USA, India, and the Mediterranean.

His wealth of experience in maritime law, port operations, rail and integrated supply chain, and dedication to excellence in the industry make him an excellent fit for this role,” said Irene Rosberg, Programme Director of the Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics. “We are confident that Napo will effectively represent our programme’s values and mission across the African continent.”

With a proven track record as a strategic leader and logistics expert, Ramodibedi has excelled as a Founder and Executive Chairman developing executive strategy, business development, and contract negotiation skills. Prior to this, his background encompasses Shipping Law, focusing on maritime and admiralty law, shipping litigation, and marine insurance.

“I am thrilled to assume the role of Ambassador for the Blue MBA Programme, representing Africa. With a background deeply rooted in rail, oil and gas, vessel operations, and logistics, as well as extensive expertise in maritime law spanning salvage,  ship finance, and vessel registration. I am eager to connect with like-minded professionals who are considering the Blue MBA education. The implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, creates an opportunity for new trading patterns and therefore new logistics requirements, throughout Africa. I am excited about the opportunity to unlock collaboration throughout the Blue MBA network, in accessing these opportunities.” says Ramodibedi.

Napo Ramodibedi completed his Executive MBA in Shipping & Logistics at Copenhagen Business School in 2021 and has also received specialised training in leadership and management. Fluent in multiple languages, Ramodibedi brings a unique perspective and deep understanding of high-level leadership and maritime law to his role as ambassador.

The Blue MBA extends its gratitude and acknowledges the valuable contributions of the previous Ambassador of Africa, Amado Mabasso.
